I visited this salon today for a colour appointment and, being completely honest, I was feeling quite nervous — trying a new place for something as personal as a colour job can be daunting. But wow… they absolutely exceeded my expectations! From the moment I walked in, the consultation was thorough and thoughtful. They really took the time to understand what I wanted, talked me through the process, and made sure I was comfortable with everything — including the pricing — before starting. I truly appreciated how gentle and attentive they were throughout the whole appointment. The end result? I’m beyond happy. My transformation is stunning, and I feel so refreshed and confident. It was such a lovely experience from start to finish — the kind of service that’s hard to come by. I wish I got the name of my hairdresser so I could recommend her - I was a walk in and they were able to fit me in immediately. She took a lot of care & effort with my hair, despite only being in for a haircut. A second hairdresser came over to dry my hair and all hairdressers were making sure I was having a good time. Lovely vibes with the plants/decorations inside too :)

Yuiko and her beautiful team did an amazing job with my hair! I am always nervous to try a new stylist but was blown away by the experience here at the St James Studio! When I called to inquire about an apt for a root touch up, cut and style they made me feel comfortable and got me in within 15 minutes of my call! When/where does that happen…I was nervous but they had such great reviews I risked it! I was greeted immediately, seated and had a treat and tea brought over as Yuiko and I discussed what I was hoping for. My ends were damaged and as a blonde I am always nervous about the condition of my hair she took the time to hear my concerns help me choose a color and then she and her team began! I had two stylists working at the same time and finished a root touch up with 3 diff color applications to get the overall even effect I wanted with a treatment, cut and style in just over 3 hours🤗 They were fast sweet and completely on their game!! I highly recommend Yuiko and her team for quality care and styling!! OH and very reasonably priced!

Pricey but quality; but if you’re looking for great stylists who know how to work on Asian hair especially come here. Amazing hair stylists, comfortable and welcoming vibe, they provide tea, snacks and make you comfortable immediately.
